Maid In Charge???

Come to think about it; maids sometimes can be hell and sometimes can be heaven. It actually depends on how the attitude as well as the adaptibility of the maids. However; for us this one is actually is more hell than heaven.

As a matter of fact; without the presence both of my parents and my younger sister, she could be out for hours sometimes can be few hours the most. She would be creating excuses like 'I have gone out to buy some of my food' at this so called stall. However; her main motive is to go out and to gossip and neglect her duties as a maid. If with the other employers who are really mean and angry with this so called 'emperess attitude of hers'. I will bet that either she would be beaten up like a sack of potatoes or even sent back to Indonesia. Although she has more than 6 years of experience but she still lacks the proactiveness to learn; to complete her scope of work and even to respect her employers. The worst thing about her is that she loves to make a scene that she is the 'victim' in fact; we are the victims of her slyness, boastfulness, wickedness as well as her lies, and her unwillingness to work to earn her living. She would be always comparing her previous employer who used to give her all the freedom to look after her four children at the Sri Damansara condominium. On top of that; no one supervises her attitude and her work in the previous workplace although the madam employer is a housewife who is never around at home. With this type of attitude; I think for the other 'type' of employer she will be beaten half to death or even sent back to Indonesia without having any second thoughts at all.

Sometimes; I wonder how we had managed to cope with this type of 'pah toh' attitude of hers as well as her 'tak tahu malu' in her work. She will be complaining to other maids as though we have mistreated her and crying like cats and dogs looking like we have beaten her. In fact; we had not even touched her at all. The government ought to do something about this 'kind' of foreign maids who are in fact incapable in handling their jobs as well as the attitude. Especially those without basic education at all to enter into Malaysia to work as a maid at all. They are in fact incompetent in their work and the quality of work is worse than those with basic education. Maybe we ought to impose a quota on how many new maids are able to enter into Malaysia or even the experienced ones. No wonder so many people whom I have known are dealing tons of problems from their own hired maids especially with the attitude that they are displaying telling us that we are not firm enough or even stern with our actions to curb such 'illegals' who crossed over to our continent to 'earn a living'. Especially when actions do speak louder than words it is better to curb and give them a warning that such behaviours or attitude cannot be tolerated as such there is no diplomacy in their level to overcome such matter.
